TRIPURA JUDICIAL SERVICES


The High Court of Tripura is responsible for conducting the Tripura Judicial Service Examination. The selection process of the Tripura Judiciary Exam involves three stages: prelims, mains, and viva-voce. 

 

Eligibility

To be eligible to appear in Tripura Judicial Service, the candidate must be a holder of a Degree in Law from a Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized university. The candidate also must hold the license of practice as an advocate, that is, he/she must clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) for appearing in the Tripura Judicial Service Examination.

 

Age limit

The age limit for Tripura Judicial Service exam is a minimum of 21 years and maximum of 35 years as on the official cutoff date mentioned in the official notification. Age is relaxable by 3 years in the case of SC/St candidates.

 

Preliminary

The Preliminary exam consists of 100 questions, each of 1 mark. The preliminary exam is of 2 hours and there is no negative marking.

Mains

The Tripura Judicial Service Mains Examination consists of 4 papers, each paper consists of 100 marks and time allotted is 3 hours for each paper.
