MAHARASHTRA JUDICIAL SERVICES 2021


The Maharashtra Judicial Service (Junior Division) Exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The Maharashtra Judiciary MPSC Civil Judge Exam, JMFC – Judicial Magistrate First Class, or CJJD – Civil Judge Junior Division exam is held in three successive stages, viz. Preliminary examination, Mains examination and a Viva voce for the post of Maharashtra Judicial Service (Junior Division). All three stages are qualifying in nature.

 

Maharashtra Judiciary Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021: The Maharashtra Judiciary MPSC Civil Judge Exam, JMFC – Judicial Magistrate First Class, or CJJD – Civil Judge Junior Division

In order to apply for the Maharashtra Judiciary Exam, the candidates should be eligible in the following criteria:

Citizenship: The candidate should be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: Candidates should be below the age of 35 years as on the date mentioned in the official notification. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for Scheduled Caste candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Degree of Law from a reputed University.

 

Preliminary Exam: The Maharashtra Judiciary MPSC Civil Judge Exam, JMFC – Judicial Magistrate First Class, or CJJD – Civil Judge Junior Division

As per the Maharashtra Judicial Service Preliminary Examination Pattern, the Maharashtra pre exam consists of an objective paper of 100 marks. The Maharashtra Judicial Service Preliminary Examination is of 2 hours. The Maharashtra Judiciary exam paper has a negative marking, for each incorrect answer 1/4th mark is deducted.

Maharashtra Judiciary Mains Examination Syllabus: The Maharashtra Judiciary MPSC Civil Judge Exam, JMFC – Judicial Magistrate First Class, or CJJD – Civil Judge Junior Division

The Maharashtra Judiciary mains exam is of descriptive type and has two papers of 100 marks each. The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours for each paper. The mains exam will be conducted in Marathi and the English language.
