The Patten of the IBPS SO Law Officer 2022 (IBPS) Preliminary exam comprises of MCQs and followed by a Mains Exam and a Personal Interview/Viva Voce.

Preliminary Exam for the IBPS SO Law Officer 2022 (IBPS) consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The examination is conducted for 125 marks with a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer and the total time duration is 2 hours.

Mains Examination for the IBPS SO Law Officer 2022 i.e., the MCQ paper for IBPS SO Law Officer 2022 for Civil Judge consists of one paper for law, Professional Knowledge. The examination is conducted for 60 marks and consists of 60 questions and the total time duration is 45 minutes. Marks deducted for every wrong answer is one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.

The result for the IBPS SO Law Officer 2022 will be uploaded on the ibps. Separate results are announced for each phase conducted and after which a final merit list is prepared of the students who have qualified. The final merit list of the candidates qualifying is prepared on the basis of the score obtained in the Main Examinations and the marks obtained in the Personal Interview/Viva Voce. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination are not counted for the preparation of the final merit list and is only of qualifying nature. The Cut-off marks are decided by the exam conducting authority to shortlist the qualifying candidates. Clearing the cut-off is important for each of the candidates.
