AILET (UG)

 

About:

 

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national level entrance examination. It is conducted by National Law University (NLU), Delhi, once in a year. Candidates can opt for admission in LL.M, 5 year B.A LL.B and Ph.D programmes.

Eligibility: Bachelor of Laws B.A LL.B (Hons)

Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 10th & 12th from any recognized board or university to be eligible for the examination.

Percentage: He/She must score minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for the examination.

 

 

Paper Pattern: AILET (UG)

 

The format of the examination is offline i.e., (pen-paper). The medium of the question paper is in English. The total time duration which a student is provided for attempting the paper is 1 hour 30 minutes i.e., (90 minutes). It is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and consists of 150 such questions. Each question is of 1 Mark and every wrong answer deducts 0.25 Mark.

 

 

Paper Syllabus: AILET (UG)

 

English: It includes questions from vocabulary, language usage, general grammar, reading comprehension and related topics.

Legal Aptitude: It includes basic questions from law of crimes, legal awareness, contracts & constitutional law, international law and related topics.

Logical Reasoning: It includes questions from topics such as verbal, non-verbal, critical reasoning and related reasoning concepts.

Numerical Ability: It includes questions from topic such as ratio, proportion, time, mensuration and such other related topic.

General Knowledge & Current Affairs: It includes questions from national and international current events, general knowledge & general science, economy, UN bodies, general science, geography and related topics.
